Summer of Great Music
Wow... I just realized that it's been a very long time since I wrote anything here! So much has happened.
It's been a great summer for music here - went to see Keb' Mo' and Robert Cray at Ben and Jerry's Concerts on the Green at Shelburne Museum a few weeks ago and it was the perfect late summer evening - stars in abundance, warm breezes and fantastic music.

Then 2 nights of my favorite band, the Garza brothers, also known as Henry, JoJo, and Ringo -Los Lonely Boys. Hampton Beach (NH) and then Higher Ground (S. Burlington VT). Got some good videos and Henry handed me his last pick of the night at the finale! A sweet, sweet moment. I have two from him now. Love those boys and glad I know them!
Henry's feet at HG, or was this one Hampton? I was that close - right up at the stage. The only way to see them!!!
Next up is Susan Tedeschi - tickets I happened to win from Ben & Jerry's for their 30th birthday bash at the Flynn Center (where I work! - How funny is that?) in a couple of weeks. Who knows after that.... this is like the Austin of the North and the music scene is thriving.

Elton John in Vermont
WOW! We Vermonters were treated to an amazing show a couple of weeks ago. The one and only Sir Elton made his first trip to Vermont in July and put on a show to end all shows. His voice is richer than ever and his energy.... amazing! How's abouta hand stand on the corner of his famous piano! Yep, he did. It was great to hear him open the show by saying "It took us 39 years to get to Vermont, but it won't take another 39 to come back.". :)
We'll be waiting Elton!
